Why It Came to MPG
This project was never meant to be a simple engine installation. The goal was to turn a lightweight Mazda Miata into a complete high-performance car using an LS-based stroker V8.
What We Found
Once the performance target changed, the stock systems could not simply be left alone. Powertrain, cooling, fuel, electrical, suspension, chassis and driveline all had to be reconsidered around the new output.
What We Did
MPG integrated the LS stroker powertrain together with upgraded cooling, radiator and fans, fuel system, electrical work, suspension, chassis modifications, driveline changes, axles and the supporting hardware required to make the combination work as one car.
Engineering and Problem Solving
A serious LS engine swap is much more than fitting an engine. Packaging, cooling capacity, fuel supply, wiring, chassis strength, suspension behavior and driveline durability all have to support the same target.

Result
